Cellulites are the lumpy dimpling like patches found generally on your hips, thighs and buttocks. Theses patches are actually fatty deposits formed under the skin which in turn give the skin an orange peel type or dimpled appearance.

Fat deposits accumulate through taking in excess proportions of foods that are fattening and unhealthy. If fat accumulation is curtailed, there would be less chances of developing fat deposits, and eventually, cellulites.

Whilst many would disagree, cellulites are often referred to a hormone imbalance problem as men almost never suffer with this condition. Women who are on birth control pills and those who had just given birth are also more susceptible to cellulite.

Even women including the likes of dancers and runners who are active and fit can be plagued by cellulite problems. This is because the cellulites are found contained in the muscle itself.

Other possible causes of cellulites are a poor blood circulation, alcohol, refined sugars and caffeine.

You may have heard that cellulites won’t be removed even if you follow the strictest diet and the most rigid exercise routine, but it’s undeniable that there are cellulite sufferers who claim that topical creams, cellulite shorts, healthy diets or exercises do work and reduce the appearance of their cellulites.

Exercise and diet are still almost uniformly believed to be the best ways to get rid of cellulites because exercise is particularly effective in improving the circulation and thus helping reduce the visual appearance of the cellulites.

As cellulites are nothing but fats that have been in a way trapped beneath the skin, when the rate of metabolism beneath the skin increases, the cellulites would be flushed out.

From the diet viewpoint, eating plenty of fruits and vegetables and working with a detoxifying diet improve the chances of the cellulites disappearing.

If you want to be free from the physical and emotional difficulties caused by having cellulites in your hips, thighs, arms and some other parts of your body, you need to have a broader cellulite reduction action plan.
